We're proud that asleep mattresses are designed and made in Lithuania. We work with local manufacturing partners and carefully select every material and construction element. Local production keeps us close to the entire process — from the first prototypes to the finished mattress — and helps us maintain the quality we expect from every asleep.
When developing asleep, our goal wasn't simply to make another mattress. Together with Vilnius University medical students, we analysed sleep ergonomics, different materials and their combinations, and how mattress construction can adapt to different people's needs. We combined these insights with prototyping and testing different foam combinations. Step by step, this shaped the multi-layer asleep construction we use today.
We want asleep to remain just as comfortable after years of use as it is on the first night. That's why the foams used in the mattress are tested for durability, resilience and resistance to long-term loading. Every asleep layer uses high-quality, CertiPUR-certified foams that meet defined quality and safety requirements. This gives us confidence not only in how asleep feels today, but in how it will perform for years to come.
